HIMBA exists to create, preserve, protect and promote the Hornby trails, maintain trail access for cyclists of all levels and styles of riding, support cycling related community projects and events while building our cycling community.
- Our mandate is maintenance
- A full survey of maintenance needs is undertaken every fall
- We will work in cooperation with the parks maintenance person
- We will notify the Hornby Island Regional Parks Committee of any planned changes, upgrades or new ideas and get approval, BEFORE undertaking the work
- that HIMBA is in support of all the trails and will assist in the creation of hiking trails and other projects on the mountain
